We Help Middle Eastern Restaurateurs Build Authentic, Profitable Japanese Dining Experiences
From concept to sourcing, strategy to staff training — bridging Japan’s heritage with local tastes and operational success.
Creation of Japaldia
Japaldia was created to connect Dubai with Japan by sharing Japanese goods and cultural experiences through food. As more Japanese restaurants open in the Middle East, founder Yusuke Baba saw an missed opportunity in authenticity — striving to bring authentic Japanese concepts, products, and tools to the region.
Japaldia focuses on showcasing lesser-known Japanese products like Wagyu beef and halal-friendly noodle dishes with the Middle East — to provide business owners & consumers in the Middle East with an authentically Japanese experience.

We want to strengthen the complete hospitality experience of restaurant services, while providing our knowledge & strategies to ensure business success & customer satisfaction of the Middle Eastern F&B Industry with Japanese authenticity.

Inspired by offering
the Middle East an authentic dive into Japanese cuisine.
Yusuke Baba, the Owner & CEO of Japaldia, is on a mission to redefine how the Middle East experiences Japanese cuisine.
With a deep-rooted passion for authentic Japanese culture and cuisine, along with a background in competing in karate, Yusuke believes that Japanese food tells a story, while weaving together local and global influences.
Inspired by simplicity and nature, he aims to bring the true essence of Japan to the Middle East, offering and connecting meaningful culinary experiences that go beyond technique and labels currently understood in market.
After having trained in one of the top competitive restaurant groups in Japan, to producing more than 10 types of Japanese restaurants and successfully running more than 30 restaurants in Japan, Yusuke found himself finding an opportunity to provide his experiences on a visit to Dubai.
Originally growing up in the Japanese countryside, Yusuke applies his strong ties to local farmers, fishermen, cattlemen to every restaurant experience he creates — believing in the connection between local goods and the consumers that get to experience them. He wants to bridge the feeling people in the Middle East get for food from a Japanese perspective.

For Yusuke, it’s about providing a space for people to come together and create their own story around Japanese food — while connecting the experiences of local farmers, fishers, traders, professionals in food industry and consumers alike in the Middle East & Japan.
